Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or equivalent, 10+ years of experience, Intermediate to advanced proficiency in software development in C/C++, Proficiency in software development in Python, Simulation development using Matlab/Simulink, Design, development, and test of models and simulations for hardware-in-the-loop testing of avionics and flight software, Time-domain 6-DOF vehicle simulation experience, Software development targeted for real-time operating systems and environments, Modeling and simulating space vehicle subsystems, Developing of software targeted for Linux distribution, especially RedHat Enterprise Linux or derivatives distributions, Proficiency working with Unix/Linux (unix-like OS structure, file system, shell, secure shell), Ability to communicate professionally with customers, stakeholders, and cross-organizational teams, Ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing, Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client, Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Ability to make rational decisions, Ability to exercise good judgment, Proof of U.
