Who will you be working with? Wabtec’s Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is a recognized industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects. These projects involve signaling, train control, communications, and back-office solutions with a strong focus on project execution, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction Where will you be Working? This is a FIFO role (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, Wednesday to Tuesday), in the Pilbara region. What will your typical day look like? * Install, test, and commission signalling equipment including track circuits, point machines, signals, and train control systems. * Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the integrity and reliability of signalling infrastructure. * Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in signalling systems, utilising technical expertise and diagnostic tools to identify and rectify issues promptly. * Collaborate with engineering teams to implement signalling upgrades and modifications, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Provide technical support during commissioning activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures. * Document maintenance activities, test results, and equipment performance to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Assist in the development of training materials and provide mentoring and guidance to client-side maintenance teams, junior staff and apprentices. What do we want to know about you? * MANDATORY: Certificate IV in Rail Signalling (Electrical) * MANDATORY: A Grade Electrical License - WA * MANDATORY: Statement of Competency * MANDATORY: Rail Industry Worker Card * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different work sites, including Remote WA as required. * Proven experience working in the rail industry, preferably in signalling maintenance, installation and commissioning. * Strong knowledge of signalling principles, standards a
