Full Job Description

As a Shop Technician, you will play a vital role in quality control, and operation of woodworking machinery, setting up and programming equipment to fabricate or repair wooden parts for our custom cabinetry. We provide paid, on-the-job training for motivated candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a team transforming our clients’ spaces with care and attention to detail. * Operate and maintain woodworking machinery * Interpret and execute work from technical drawings, cut sheets, and production plans * Ensure accurate cutting, sizing, and quality control of wood components * Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure safety protocols are followed * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace * Collaborate with the production team to meet timelines and quality standards * Support other shop operations as needed ## Qualifications Qualifications The ideal candidate for this Shop Technician role would likely possess the following qualifications: * Experience: Minimum 1 years of cabinetry, millwork, or carpentry experience * Machinery Knowledge: Proficiency with woodworking machines such as beam saw, edge banders and hand/power tools * Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cut sheets * Maintenance: Familiarity with daily maintenance and troubleshooting of woodworking equipment * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform tasks involving standing, kneeling, crouching, and climbing * Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, math skills and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions * Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn internal systems * Asset: Forklift Certification ## Additional Information Compensation & Benefits * Full-t
