Primary Function of Position The Shipping Supervisor reports to the Materials Management Director and is responsible for leading daily shipping operations to ensure all outbound shipments are executed safely, accurately, on time, and in compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations. This role supervises shipping personnel, supports training and performance development, and coordinates shipment planning and execution across internal departments to meet customer and business requirements. The Shipping Supervisor also maintains shipping documentation and audit readiness, monitors operational performance, resolves shipment issues proactively, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this position manages purchase orders for packaging materials through the Coupa system, ensuring appropriate inventory levels and timely replenishment to support shipping demand.
