1-2 years related experience, Previous experience in shipping and receiving, Previous experience in quality assurance, Understand Warehouse and Production processes, Understanding of food industry and safety standards, Basic Math Skills Required, Exceptional grammar, writing, and documentation skills, Teamwork and communication skills required, Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently, Ability to work in a team environment, Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry, Detail-oriented and accurate in recordkeeping, Required to use hands to handle, Required to use hands to reach, Required to stand, Required to walk, Required to climb, Required to balance, Required to stoop, Required to kneel, Required to crouch, Required to crawl, Required to taste, Required to smell, Occasionally lift/move 50 lbs, Specific vision includes close vision, Specific vision includes distance vision, Specific vision includes peripheral vision, Specific vision includes depth perception, Specific vision includes ability to adjust focus

What You'll Do.
Inspect incoming shipments
Perform inspections of incoming raw materials
Perform inspections of incoming ingredients
Assess materials against quality parameters
Assess materials against specifications
Evaluate products for defects
Evaluate products for damages
Evaluate products for deviations
Take appropriate action based on findings
Perform Gluten testing on incoming ingredients
Review Certificates of Analysis
Verify Certificates of Analysis
Ensure materials meet predefined criteria
Ensure materials meet regulatory requirements
Cross-check COA details with physical shipment
Identify discrepancies
Identify quality issues
Ensure outgoing shipments are properly packaged
Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications
Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders
Verify contents of shipments against packing slips
Ensure proper labeling of outbound shipments
Ensure proper packaging of outbound shipments
Document shipment inspection activities
Track shipment inspection activities
Collaborate with Warehouse to resolve issues
Ensure smooth shipment processes
Maintain organized records of shipping activities
Maintain organized records of receiving activities
Communicate findings to management
Work closely with purchasing department
Work closely with production department
Communicate quality issues
Coordinate corrective measures
Engage in discussions with suppliers
Engage in discussions with logistics team
Improve material quality
Resolve recurring problems
Adhere to all safety protocols
Report food safety issues
Report food quality issues
Report plant safety issues
