Must Have
Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma, Minimum 3 years practical experience in the operation of a forklift in a shipping/receiving role, Valid Forklift Operator License
What You'll Do.
Provide leadership support of personnel
Build an effective team
Ensure part storage location is kept orderly
Submit weekly hours worked
Ensure timely deliveries to customers
Monitor departmental metrics
Track departmental metrics
Maintain confidentiality
Perform workplace inspections
Maintain 5S standards
Correct unsafe conditions
Supervise staff within the department
Provide performance management
Allocate labor resources to Shipping
Utilize employee corrective action process
Utilize progressive discipline process
Responsible for shipper training
Responsible for Shipper rotation
Maintain shipper records
Oversee preparation of all documentation for shipments
Ensure forklift operators follow safe operating procedures
Lead daily pre/post shift meetings
Communicate in daily pre/post shift meetings
Perform job functions safely
