Must Have
Minimum of two years’ working experience in shipping and receiving role is required, Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, Basic mathematical skills, Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently, Attention to detail in all areas of work, Dependable, with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills, Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck, Physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 lbs

What You'll Do.
Accurately and efficiently managing all incoming and outgoing shipments
Manually load and unload materials
Put away received materials
Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records in Sage
Maintain filing of shipping documents
Prepare and schedule shipments and daily transportation needs
Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries
Perform forklift circle checks and routine maintenance
Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Sort and distribute incoming shipments
Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods
Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation
Problem-solve for any causes of missing documents
Perform all duties in accordance with safety program standards

Communication is primarily internal to the assigned work team, the Inventory and Materials Supervisors, and Production and Plant Management.

**Job Description** **Title:** Shipper/Receiver **Department:** Receiving **Reports To:** Inventory Supervisor **Overview** The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for accurately and efficiently managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure smooth operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting other business functions by maintaining precision and timeliness in the shipping and receiving process. **Roles & Responsibilities** * Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices. * Put away received materials to proper storage locations. * Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records in Sage for reporting and tracking. * Maintain filing of shipping documents. * Prepare and schedule shipments and daily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers. * Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries. * Perform forklift circle checks and routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment. * Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies. * Sort and distribute incoming shipments to applicable departments. * Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off and report discrepancies to immediate supervisor. * Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete. * Problem-solve for any causes of missing documents, shipments, and deliveries. * Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities** * Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck. * Online shipping, tracking, and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, Purolator and DHL. * Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. * Minimum of two years’ working
