5 years of supervision in a chemical process industry, 10 years of supervision in an industrial process industry

What You'll Do.
Supervise team of chemical technicians
Ensure chemical technicians are trained
Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes
Report manufacturing deviations
Report safety incidents
Enter transactions into MRP system
Approve work permits for maintenance
Prepare equipment for maintenance
Schedule equipment for maintenance
Coordinate raw material requests
Coordinate finished product requests
Participate in passdown meetings
Lead daily team meetings
Ensure use of Good Manufacturing Practices
Ensure manufacturing documentation completion
Ensure good housekeeping in facility
Assist technicians with analyzing results
Ensure equipment cleaning procedures executed
Recommend improvements to manufacturing methods
Serve as headcount coordinator
Serve as site point of contact
Escalate issues appropriately
Participate in root cause investigations
Participate in 6S studies
