If you are ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking and a team player and interested in growing your career with an International FMCG business, please read through our job opportunity. **Key Activities:** * To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the site on a daily basis * To undertake a range of cleaning activities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis in line with the cleaning schedule and to the set standards * To maintain high standards of hygiene in canteen, rest areas, toilet facilities, locker rooms and office areas * To ensure standards and procedures are adhered to * To use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically; to inform Line Manager when stocks are low * To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults to Line Manager * Empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated area, including the separation of waste, i.e. recycling * To clean internal glass and internal and external door glass * Where practicable ensure windows and doors are closed and lights switched off * Maintaining clean and obstruction free floor areas * Ensuring walkways and emergency fire exits are clear and unobstructed * To identify, report and assist with any areas in need of ‘deep cleaning’ operations * To ensure only approved cleaning materials are used and in accordance with manufacturers printed instructions and COSHH regulations. Chemicals should never be mixed with other chemicals * To be aware of their responsibilities for Health & Safety of themselves and others **Key Result Areas:** * Housekeeping standards to be in line with visual standards photographs, 5S audits and generally to meet GMP Audit standards **Behavioural Competencies / Personal Characteristics:** Must be a self starter and able to work on own initiative.
