What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent, Ability to learn advanced proprietary graphical computer-aided analysis software, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Ability to multitask and prioritize own workload, Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, Attention to detail and accuracy, Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads, Basic level of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Nice to Have
Associate’s Degree in CAD, Drafting, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Understand and interpret 3D solid models, 2d prints, and GD&T
What You'll Do.
Analyze customer supplied 3D CAD models
Provide customers quotations
Set customer expectations through design for manufacturing feedback
Extract information from customer-supplied 3D models and 2D
Provide customers with design for manufacturing feedback
Work with production staff to review methods
Ensure optimal sheet metal manufacturing processes are utilized
Develop and maintain knowledge of all standard materials
Develop and maintain knowledge of plating requirements
Develop and maintain knowledge of powder coating requirements
Develop and maintain knowledge of welding requirements
Develop and maintain knowledge of organizational processes
Convey benefits and respond to inquiries from customers
Consult with outside vendors to ensure work can
Provide all necessary information to complete the job
Respond quickly to customer’s requests for changes
Consistently evaluate for best practice and improvement opportunities
Comply with all company quality and safety standards
Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
Perform additional tasks as assigned
