Must Have
Able to use and read a tape measure, General knowledge of fabrics and hand cutting of fabrics, Ability to use production equipment, Ability to use hand and power tools, Capable of standing for extended periods of time, Capable of lifting on a continuous basis, attention to details, Follow written and verbal instructions
Nice to Have
Minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical knowledge, OSHA certified
What You'll Do.
and preventative maintenance on industrial sewing machines
Make unscheduled repairs on production equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance during machine servicing
Read and interpret manuals for maintenance
replace or repair parts
Test and adjust equipment
Use a variety of hand and power tools
Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment
Assist in training sewing machine operators
Comply with all facility safety rules
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules
Report any unsafe practices
Maintain floor safety discipline
Communicate safety rule violations to management
Wear required personal protective equipment
Report all near misses
