Position Overview The Sewing Machine Mechanic will be responsible for performing setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial sewing machines. What you'll do Perform setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial sewing machines. Make unscheduled repairs on production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine servicing. Read and interpret manuals to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust equipment. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment. Assist in training sewing machine operators in the proper setup
