Must Have
Minimum of 10 years of research and development expertise, managing research projects, and project management experience., BSA degree or equivalent education and/or experience., Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Nice to Have
Master’s or PHD degree in equivalent education in the fields of computer science or other related fields., Proficiency with project management tools, system development and mapping tools, and data analytic tools and processes., Knowledge of AI/ML, Emerging Technologies, transition to practice processes, including commercialization strategies., Experience working in the innovation ecosystem, including high-growth technology enterprises, and with a federal government funding research agency in a Science, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) role., Preferred familiarity with NSF's partnerships landscape study., Ability to demonstrate technical skills and experience in managing research projects, data analysis and visualization, survey implementation, project strategy and management., Proficiency in interpreting and executing industry-standard project management tools, technical note capture and reporting, and administrative duties such as scheduling meetings and coordinating deliverable feedback., High proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.

**The work:** ICF is seeking a Manager, Research and Development (SETA 2) to support science and engineering innovation programs at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Your work will contribute to enabling the U.S. to uphold its leadership in innovation in science and engineering.
