Must Have
Basic computer knowledge, Good manual dexterity, Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision, Good understanding of quality control principles, Good communication skills (verbal and written), Experience and ability in using hand tools, Age 18 years or older
What You'll Do.
Set up and operate machine tools and equipment
Perform diversified set-up operations
Follow plant and department safety rules
Meet satisfactory performance requirements
Care for equipment to prevent breakdowns
Increase overall equipment efficiency
Perform general equipment effectiveness and reliability
Perform total productive maintenance
Perform equipment setup
Perform general equipment preventive/corrective maintenance
Complete TPM checklist
Perform minor machine repairs/rebuilds
Inspect equipment for needed repairs
Enter work order information into system
Perform preventative maintenance procedures
Perform all required tasks in a safe manner
Correct and/or report unsafe conditions
Maintain good housekeeping
Work overtime as requested
and operate welding machines
Join parts by spot welds
Control dimensions using jigs and fixtures
Determine number of welds and contact cycles
Set automatic timing devices
Rig equipment for welding
Position work for welding
Change and dress electrodes
Reposition arms and/or heads
Prepare equipment for welding
and operate punch presses
Perform forming operations
Perform notching operations
Perform bending operations
Perform punching operations
Set up dies and gauges
Form materials to proper angle
Determine sequence of multiple pass operations
Make required bends on complicated sections
Work from drawings and/or blueprints
Change line over to set hang patterns
Set hang patterns and speeds
Know needed hooks and drops
Train associates on hanging techniques
Operate all machines in assembly
Perform all assembly functions
Set up label machines
Make required settings on label machines
Change ribbon on label machines
Change labels on label machines
Maintain and set up dropfront panel rivet machines
Maintain and set up panel knob machine
Maintain and set up lock rod rivet machine
Make adjustments at forming stations
Make adjustments at punch press section
