Drawing inspiration from its rich heritage as an inventor company, Baker Hughes harnesses the passion and expertise of its people to improve productivity throughout the entire oil and gas value chain. **Partner with the best** As Applications Engineer, you will work closely with completion engineers in client office for 4/5 days per week with responsibilities to include: * Preparing and reviewing drawings and technical spec sheets. * Reviewing and approving assembly sheets. * Reviewing tally and schematics. * Creating and reviewing procedures. * Leading troubleshooting efforts and respond to technical queries/operational clarifications with 24/7 availability. * Providing well design, testing and execution planning support. * Providing a link between the local operations and global engineering support teams. * Leading the introduction of new technology from a technical standpoint. * Working with Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to ensure any risk of not meeting the client’s objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes * Advising on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component/product failures * Providing sales support and product application recommendations **Fuel your passion** To be successful in this role you will have: * Have 5+ years of oilfield services experience in Completions and/ or IPS. * Have a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics preferred (or significant relevant experience with high performance) * Have Operational/ Field experience preferred * Show excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills * Have ability to be on call 24/7 during “on rotation” time * Have ab
