We’re looking for people who love being part of a diverse, global team – and who get excited about making a real-world impact with data. # **Job description** **The Team** Services Desk Advisors will work with Hitachi sales representatives and customers to discover requirements, create and price professional services proposals, and ensure a smooth sales process. The Services Desk Advisor will take service requests and incoming calls from Hitachi sales representatives and determine the best way to engage the professional services team: select a calculated service from a list; learn more from the customer to select a service; or escalate to Solutions team to pursue a more complex opportunity. The advisor will be responsible for handling inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. **The Role** * Manage all PS opportunities: Classify calls and e-mail inquiries from sales and customers by following a defined process; take appropriate action based on the opportunity requirements; ensure real time updates are put into internal systems during the lifecycle of an opportunity. * Work with sales representatives to select and position calculated services, inform them of alternative or additional services that may fulfill customer’s objectives; describe service outcomes. * Document Customer requirements and transition high-value service opportunities to the Solution team for further development. * Build rapport with sales and other groups through friendly, enga
