What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–4 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract, Completion of FOI (Fiber Optic Installer) or FOA (Fiber Optic Association) certification
What You'll Do.
Perform installation of fiber network
Engage with customers
Complete general installations
Perform mainline and drop fiber blowing
Understand basic data center concepts
Troubleshoot advanced issues
Complete splice dome and express dome installations
Perform advanced network repairs
Interpret locates and maps
Advise customers on drop placement
Support MXU cost estimates
Act as a subject matter expert
