technical training, including relevant professional experience or a university degree in mechatronics/mechanical engineering, several years of relevant professional experience, excellent written and spoken Japanese and English skills, willing to travel internationally for up to 50% of your time, willing to relocate to Japan for 2-3 years, communication, teamwork, and assertiveness skills, pronounced hands-on mentality

Nice to Have

Service experience with automated systems, electron beam systems, or ion beam systems is advantageous

What You'll Do.

Technically flawless execution of complex commissioning work

development of solutions for the most challenging technical problems

Analysis of multifaceted and potentially novel malfunctions

Remedial measures for complex problems

including hardware and software interfaces

Determining the dates for commissioning and service work with project management

and monitoring adherence to these dates

and creation of all technical documentation

Planning and conducting training sessions

providing technical support in English or Japanese

both remotely and on-site
