What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED, Experience in property management maintenance, Experience in other building maintenance, Experience in related trade, Provide own hand tools, Knowledge of safe use of tools, Ability to apply logical thinking, Proficiency in customer service, Proficiency in interpersonal communication, Ability to read and write effectively, Ability to communicate effectively, Proficiency in internet programs, Proficiency in word processing programs, Proficiency in spreadsheet programs, Proficiency in database management programs, Mathematical skills for calculations, EPA certifications Type II or Universal, All certifications required by State, All certifications required by Local jurisdictions, Valid driver's license

What You'll Do.
Assist with work orders
Perform routine upkeep
Oversee make-ready process
Prepare vacant apartments
Complete pre-move-out inspection
Complete maintenance tasks
Inspect completed work
Develop cleanliness standards
Develop appearance standards
Inspect work performed by others
Assess effectiveness of policies
Develop corrective action plans
Inspect work performed by contractors
Inspect work performed by vendors
Verify materials quality
Verify services quality
Maintain inventory of spare parts
Maintain inventory of maintenance materials
Stay within budgetary guidelines
Complete monthly preventative maintenance
Assist in budget development
Support cost-cutting programs
Support expense control programs
Fix rather than replace parts
Avoid waste of materials
Practice correct use of tools
Practice correct use of equipment
Conduct safety meetings
Ensure MSDS sheets are current
Ensure MSDS sheets are accessible
Keep up to date on OSHA
Keep up to date on safety laws
Ensure community compliance
