Physical Requirements: Exposure to industry accepted chemicals and noise, Regularly required to stand, reach, bend and move about the facility, Able to lift and/or move materials as needed in the performance of assigned duties, Requirements include, but are not limited to stand, walk, sit, twist, bend, lift, see, speak, hear, Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, May require occasional travel (locally, nationally, internationally)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or high-tech environments, Fluency in the English language is required, problem solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills required, Able to relay technical information in a way your audience understands, Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job, Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area, troubleshooting and analytical skills, High attention to detail and safety awareness, Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, Able to function as part of a team, with members of varying job levels, and work cooperatively toward team goals, Consistently adhere to, and support all UTAC policies, procedures, and safety regulations, Self-starter, who can multi-task and possess communication skills, Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
Associate’s degree or technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical is preferred, Experience with automated systems preferred, Experience in the automotive testing and validation industry preferred
What You'll Do.
and repairing complex mechanical
and electromechanical systems
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical
and automated systems
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures using diagnostic tools and root-cause analysis
and commissioning of new equipment and systems
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety
and regulatory requirements (OSHA
Support continuous improvement initiatives (SQCDP) to reduce downtime and operating costs
Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for service and repairs
Light Fabricating and/or machining fixturing
Keeping workspace clean (Shop/Trash cans/Fab room)
Perform other duties as assigned
