Must Have
6 years of experience in HVAC service, especially chiller systems, Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering (or related field), Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, and chilled water systems, Familiarity with PLC controls, BMS systems, and electrical panels, Ability to read technical drawings and schematics, problem-solving and analytical abilities, Good communication and customer-handling skills, Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, Experience with leading HVAC brands (e. g. , Carrier, Trane, Daikin, York), Certification in HVAC or refrigeration systems (if applicable), Experience in industrial or commercial HVAC projects

### **Job Title:** Service Engineer – HVAC (Chillers) ### **Department:** Service / Maintenance ### **Reports To:** Service Manager ## **Job Summary** ### The Service Engineer – HVAC (Chillers) is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, with a focus on chiller units (air-cooled and water-cooled). The role ensures optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability of cooling systems at client sites. ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **1\. Installation & Commissioning** * Install and commission HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and AHUs. * Ensure proper setup as per manufacturer guidelines and project specifications. * Perform system testing and validation before handover. ### **2\. Service & Maintenance** * Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of chiller systems and HVAC equipment. * Carry out routine inspections to identify potential issues. * Maintain service logs and reports of all maintenance activities. ### **3\. Troubleshooting & Repairs** * Diagnose faults in chiller systems (electrical, mechanical, and control systems). * Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, valves, and sensors. * Ensure minimum downtime and quick resolution of breakdowns. ### **4\. Customer Support** * Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner. * Provide technical guidance and support to customers. * Maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. ### **5\. Documentation & Reporting** * Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and performance records. * Update service history and ensure proper documentation of all activities. * Follow compliance and safety standards while working. ### **6\.
