### **Job Title:** Service Engineer – HVAC (Chillers) ### **Department:** Service / Maintenance ### **Reports To:** Service Manager ## **Job Summary** ### The Service Engineer – HVAC (Chillers) is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, with a focus on chiller units (air-cooled and water-cooled). The role ensures optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability of cooling systems at client sites. ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **1\. Installation & Commissioning** * Install and commission HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and AHUs. * Ensure proper setup as per manufacturer guidelines and project specifications. * Perform system testing and validation before handover. ### **2\. Service & Maintenance** * Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of chiller systems and HVAC equipment. * Carry out routine inspections to identify potential issues. * Maintain service logs and reports of all maintenance activities. ### **3\. Troubleshooting & Repairs** * Diagnose faults in chiller systems (electrical, mechanical, and control systems). * Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, valves, and sensors. * Ensure minimum downtime and quick resolution of breakdowns. ### **4\. Customer Support** * Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner. * Provide technical guidance and support to customers. * Maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. ### **5\. Documentation & Reporting** * Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and performance records. * Update service history and ensure proper documentation of all activities. * Follow compliance and safety standards while working. ### **6\.
