Service Dispatcher - Sunrise Management - Urban Properties Division San Diego, CA Who we are: At Sunrise, we practice resident hospitality, focusing on what matters most: Helping people feel right at home. We are people people who pride ourselves in providing our residents with a Positive Living Experience. About this role: The Service Dispatcher plays a very important role in the organization. The position will be responsible for efficiently coordinating work orders and dispatching maintenance requests from residents to our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and commitment to prioritize both resident satisfaction while also working collaboratively with our team members. This is a genderless position that welcomes candidates from all backgrounds. Hourly pay range: $20.00 - $22.00 DOE What you’ll do - Includes but are not limited to: Receive maintenance requests from residents via phone, email, or online system. Assess the urgency and nature of each request and determine an appropriate course of action. Coordinate with maintenance technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance requests and their status. Follow up with residents regularly to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding concerns. Provide empathetic and professional assistance to residents in person or over the phone. Collaborate with property management staff to address any escalated issues or complex requests. Continuously improve processes by identifying areas for efficiency and recommending solutions. Stay updated on property policies and procedures related to maintenance requests. Represent Sunrise Management and the community in a professional manner. Maintain a positive businesslike attitude in person and on the telephone.
