YOU WILL BE: The Restaurant Server serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner consistent to the high standards set by Neiman Marcus. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Serves assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner • Utilizes thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed information to customers about menu items • Leverages knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures • Interacts graciously with the public and handles multiple duties at the same time • Participates in daily pre-shift meeting • Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment, and maintains knowledge of the POS system • Executes pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly duties as assigned by supervisor • Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.) • Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation • Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to: • Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes • Clean and professionally
