resolve service issues; Redirect manpower and resources as required, in order to service customers on routes that may have operational difficulties

Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to regularly access and use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers, etc., Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment that is generally climate controlled., Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis., Must be able to sit for long periods of time., Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

1+ years of supervisory experience, Experience using an integrated fleet, driver and compliance management software

Nice to Have

In depth knowledge of DOT regulations, Experience with JJ Keller software, Experience in hazardous waste industry, The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers, The ability to manage several tasks at once to meet deadlines, The ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information

What You'll Do.

Maintain and manage inventory supplies

Manage route scheduling

Redirect manpower and resources as required

Manage driver debrief process for every route

Ensure there is documentation for every customer transaction

Update route comments as required

Manage open order report to resolve service issues

Manage customer interaction records to resolve service issues

Monitor operations and staff and recommend changes

Monitor department work productivity

and recommends and implements changes

Review payroll hours to ensure overtime hours are necessary and all employees are working efficiently

Manage route vehicles

and develop an effective and efficient staff

Establish and communicate performance standards and conduct performance appraisals

Recommend salary adjustments

Coach employees on educational and job opportunities

Perform “ride a-longs”

Conduct “spot checks”

Perform pre-employment screening activities

Complete daily yard walk

Track and input DOT hours/JJ Keller

Administer Company policies and procedures

Monitor and ensure that employees are performing their functions safely and productively

Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings

Oversee and participate in the maintenance of Driver Qualification Files

DOT Log Files and Vehicle Condition Reports

Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management

Act as the liaison between customer service, operations and the support team; Make every reasonable effort to select, train, and develop a qualified, diverse workforce; Conduct team meetings; Communicate with staff
