What You'll Do.
efficient and friendly customer service
Smiles and greets customers
Learns customers’ names and addresses them by name
Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly
Checks with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and takes action to correct any problems
Collects payments from customers
Writes patrons' food orders on order slips
or enters orders into computers
Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
Takes orders from patrons for food or beverages
Checks patrons' identification for minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages
Serves food or beverages to patrons
Prepares or serves specialty dishes at tables as required
Presents menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items
making recommendations upon request
Cleans tables or counters after patrons have finished dining
and mixed drinks for patrons
Chills bottles of wine
Stocks service areas with supplies
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reports to work when scheduled and on time
Knowledgeable of all menu items
Accurately reports tip income
Washes dishes as necessary
Orders product and supplies as necessary
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
