What You'll Do.

Ensures correct and prompt delivery of food
Answers the telephone and provides service to customers
Checks with customers to ensure satisfaction and corrects problems
Collects payments from customers
Writes patrons' food orders on order slips
or enters orders into computers
Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
Takes orders from patrons for food or beverages
Checks patrons' identification for age requirements
Serves food or beverages to patrons
Prepares or serves specialty dishes at tables
Presents menus and answers questions about menu items
making recommendations
Cleans tables or counters
and mixed drinks for patrons
Chills bottles of wine
Stocks service areas with supplies
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reports to work when scheduled and on time
Is knowledgeable of all menu items
Accurately reports tip income
Washes dishes as necessary
Orders product and supplies as necessary
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
