It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. **Description of Work** The Server & Hosting Analyst I serves as an entry-to-journey level infrastructure resource responsible for supporting enterprise server, hosting, and virtualization environments across the Department. This position provides operational support, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementation assistance for physical and virtual server environments, operating systems, hosting platforms, storage systems, and associated infrastructure technologies. The position works collaboratively with application teams, cybersecurity, networking, clinical informatics, vendors, and operational stakeholders to maintain stable, secure, and highly available hosting services supporting business and clinical operations, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, enterprise applications, and mission-critical infrastructure.
