Full Job Description
In a nutshell Picnic is looking for an SEO Specialist who's passionate about optimizing websites for better search performance, understands the complexity of technical SEO, and has the drive to implement impactful changes. If you enjoy working in an international team and are excited to grow the Picnic website to our main customer acquisition channel, we’d love to hear from you! Tricks of the trade Launch SEO strategies: Create and execute SEO strategies tailored to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. SEO research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and ensure content is optimized for search intent and relevance. Technical SEO optimization: Analyze and enhance the technical aspects of our website, including site architecture, crawlability, indexability, and page speed. Close collaboration: Work closely with web developers and UX/UI designers to implement technical SEO changes and ensure website best practices are followed. Content optimization: Collaborate with the content team to optimize & implement content for search engines while maintaining brand tone and user engagement. Performance monitoring: Utilize SEO tools to monitor performance, track keyword rankings, analyze backlinks, and identify improvement areas. Reporting: Provide regular reports on organic search performance and recommend strategies for improvement. Your superpowers MSc. degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Analytics or similar 1-2 years of experience as SEO Specialist in an international environment Deep understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl management, structured data, and mobile-first indexing Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Screaming Frog Ability to make and implement technical changes directly on websites (experience with Content Management Systems) Fluent in Dutch and English, fluency in French or German is a big plus Strong analytical skil
