What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Hands-on SEO agency experience across Content Strategy, Enterprise SEO, PR, Paid Media, and/or Analytics, Superb client management skills, advanced understanding of data visualization tools, coaching able to help team members understand growth opportunities on accounts and changes in channel strategy, ability to distill complex channel specific issues, trends, and performance into a frame of reference that teams can understand and can then articulate to clients

troubleshoot advanced SEO issues
leverage audience research tactics to tell a compelling story to c-levels
work to level up the team

manage with Account Managers and Client Engagement
create and maintain impactful relationships with senior stakeholders
leading renewals and upsells for non-Client Engagement clients
regularly review profitability updates
coach team members and pivot priorities based on hour trends and client needs
partner with the Project Management Team to understand resourcing and staffing needs along with skill requirements
consult during staffing meetings on account needs
leverage new tools to drive efficiencies
test and share learnings for the benefit of the greater team

align the internal team on strategic direction and priorities; coach mid-level SEOs; work to level up the team; create a team relationship with clients; manage with Account Managers and Client Engagement; create and maintain impactful relationships with senior stakeholders; coach team members and pivot priorities based on hour trends and client needs; partner with the Project Management Team to understand resourcing and staffing needs; consult during staffing meetings on account needs; test and share learnings for the benefit of the greater team
Communication Scope
communicate the gravity of SEO findings (problems and solutions) to all client stakeholders, including c-level's with minimal SEO knowledge; drive conversation with C-level executives comfortably, educating and empowering those who don’t “get” digital, while always connecting tactics to business goals; distill complex channel specific issues, trends, and performance into a frame of reference that teams can understand and can then articulate to clients
Process & Methodology
manage with Account Managers and Client Engagement, review profitability updates shared by the Project Management, coach team members and pivot priorities based on hour trends and client needs, partner with the Project Management Team to understand resourcing and staffing needs
