What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university, experience in wet utilities construction supervision (potable water, firefighting, irrigation, stormwater, and sewer networks), preferably on large-scale infrastructure or public realm projects, knowledge of wet utilities design principles, construction standards, and authority/utility provider requirements, as well as relevant international codes
Nice to Have
Proven experience in site-based supervision, inspection procedures, and management of contractors for wet utility works, Demonstrated leadership, coordination, and communication skills within multi-disciplinary project teams, Proficiency in reading and interpreting utility layouts, profiles, hydraulic drawings, and coordination plans, Familiarity with HSE and quality management systems in a construction environment, Experience in KSA or the GCC region is preferred
What You'll Do.
Supervise and monitor the construction of all wet utility works
Review and comment on shop drawings
hydraulic calculations

Conduct daily site inspections and regular site walks
Coordinate and follow up on inspection requests (IRs)
and site observations
Liaise closely with Project Managers
other discipline engineers
and the contractor’s team
Review and verify pressure test reports
flushing and disinfection records
and other commissioning documentation
Review and verify as-built drawings and O&M manuals
Participate in progress
and coordination meetings
Monitor the contractor’s work program
and method of construction
and environmental (HSE) requirements are fully implemented and followed
Prepare and submit discipline-specific reports
and handover of wet utility systems
How You'll Work.

coordinate approvals with relevant stakeholders; Liaise closely with Project Managers, resident engineers, other discipline engineers (roads, landscape, structures, dry utilities), and the contractor’s team; Participate in progress, technical, and coordination meetings; coordination with clients, client representatives, and local authorities/utility providers
