Main Responsibilities: * Communicate effectively with vessel owners/masters/charterers, trading team and other relevant parties. * Understanding of Stowage Plan optimization * Bunkering Optimization ensure close collaboration with bunker desk to successfully manage bunker planning * Understanding principles of Voyage Profit & Loss * Resolve claims with support of the legal team * Manage assigned external relations with customers and / or vendors * Nurture a positive working relationship with the various stakeholders * Support the less experienced team members * Contribute to process and practices improvements * Support the commercial team Experience: * At least 6 years of experience operating bulkers on Time Charter * Experience at Sea or with a shipowners would be an advantage Education: * University degree in Shipping Languages: * Fluency in English is a must Soft skills: * An interest in and aptitude for people management * Customer focused and relationship building with key accounts (Internal Customers and ship owners) * Accountability and strong sense of ownership, team play and collaboration. * Ability working to tight time constraints * Personal drive and the ability to motivate others * Innovative, adaptable, flexible * Good verbal and written communication ## Additional Information Additional Information for the job Diversity & Inclusion LDC is driven by a set of shared values and high ethical standards, with diversity and inclusion being part of our DNA.
