What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related field, 5+ years of experience in VAT advisory or VAT compliance, Basic VAT knowledge, Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency

Nice to Have

Recognised accounting or tax qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT or similar), Spanish, Italian or French language highly desirable, Able to take ownership of work, Implement change, Demonstrate a problem-solving approach, Able to work to tight deadlines, Able to work under pressure, Collaborate team player, Comfortable with a fast paced and dynamic environment

What You'll Do.

review and submit EMEA VAT returns

review and submit Intrastat returns

Organise VAT registrations across various jurisdictions

Assist with VAT compliance queries from Amazon businesses

Assist in the mapping of VAT processes

Identify areas for improvement and solutions for VAT

Prepare and review month-end VAT account reconciliations

Provide internal and external audit support

Provide VAT compliance support to colleagues

Contribute to preparation of Tax Requirement Documents

Lead cross-functional projects

Participate in cross-functional projects

Support business growth

On-board new entities to VAT compliance processes
