Join the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Experience Design team (AFT-XD). We are seeking a Senior UX Designer who is passionate about the intersection of the physical and virtual worlds, reaching beyond what is shown on a screen to include the physical environment, building layout, equipment, work processes – anything and everything that impacts how work inside our fulfillment centers gets done. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, self-learner, and self-starter who looks around corners to identify user problems and needs, proactively initiates the design process, delivers user-centric design, and influences stakeholders to positively impact experiences within Amazon’s global fulfillment network. You will create solutions that scale, utilizing multiple tools and techniques to communicate your ideas. As a Senior UX Designer, you will work alongside a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers to invent solutions that improve the safety, productivity, and engagement of 1M+ Amazon associates who work in Amazon’s fulfillment network worldwide. You will own and drive the user experience from a global perspective and participate in research studies to deliver simple, elegant, and highly functional designs. You will help build relationships across teams and countries, promote collaboration and efficiency, and raise the user experience bar to improve the lives of our fulfillment center team members and ultimately deliver smiles to Amazon customers.
