Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Underground Utilities Estimator to join our team as a dedicated, full-time estimator working within our client's existing systems and workflows. This is a critical, frontline role where you will own the complete bid lifecycle and serve as a direct point of contact with major national home builders and general contractors. Your accuracy, responsiveness, and relationship-building skills directly impact bid profitability. You will work closely with ownership and play a key role in the company's ability to expand market share and pursue new work. Responsibilities - Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from civil and power utility drawings using Bluebeam and PlanSwift, with expertise in reading and interpreting utility-specific plan sets. - Conduct thorough plan reviews and specification analysis to identify missing information, clarifications, and scope questions before bid submission. - Manage the complete bid solicitation and submission process — from plan receipt through final bid delivery, including supplier and subcontractor pricing coordination. - Serve as the primary estimator contact for clients, engaging directly with home builders and general contractors to clarify scope, answer technical questions, and support the sales process. - Track active bid invitations, manage the estimating pipeline, and coordinate with internal teams on project requirements and timelines. - Support post-award workflows including subcontractor buyo
