Must Have
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in underground structures engineering, geotechnical engineering, or related fields, Proven expertise in designing and analyzing tunnels, basements, metro systems, or deep foundation structures, Advanced proficiency with structural analysis software (STAAD Pro, SAP2000, PLAXIS, or equivalent), knowledge of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering, Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D modeling software, Comprehensive understanding of underground construction methodologies and sequencing, Familiarity with international building codes and Middle Eastern construction standards, Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects, analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation, Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in construction, Senior engineering for underground structures, Experience with Rail projects required, Retaining structure design, Cut and Cover tunnel experience, TBM experience including lining design
Nice to Have
Experience with metro or transit system projects in the Middle East region, Advanced certifications in geotechnical or structural engineering
