What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10-15 years of relevant work experience, at least 4-8 years as a Transaction Manager in commercial real estate, Proven transaction management experience, demonstrated skills in contract review and lease/purchase and sale negotiations, Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives, Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts, verbal and written communication and presentation skills, Excellent negotiating, analytical, collaboration, organization/planning, and process management abilities, ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analytics, Outstanding client service skills, Proven ability to manage a team, Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice to Have
Master's, MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
What You'll Do.
Manage and execute complex lease and/or capital transactions
Foster client relationships and drive business growth
Oversee regular reporting
memoranda documenting significant client issues
and strategic planning
Supervise the workload of Analysts and potentially other Transaction Managers
Direct special projects and assignments as needed
Manage building tours with clients
Manage transaction reporting to the clients
Independently manage and execute complex
and mid-size transactions
Negotiate favorable economic and flexible lease terms for clients
Assist clients in completing numerous transactions annually
Actively monitor progress of assigned transactions and those of direct reports
Collect client requirements
review market reports
retain real estate broker partners nationally
oversee site selection and evaluation
Create requests for proposals (RFPs)
negotiate letters of intent
purchase and sale agreements
and prepare approval packages for client's senior management
Develop occupancy cost savings strategies
evaluate alternative occupancy solutions and financial structures
and refine existing transaction processes
Monitor and verify commission invoices for accuracy and payment
Maintain and ensure timely updates to the Dealio transaction tracking system
Coach and develop direct reports to reach their full potential
Lead a diverse team effectively
Foster the growth of junior talent

The position is responsible for overseeing regular reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, memoranda documenting significant client issues, and strategic planning. The Senior Transaction Manager will work primarily in a leadership capacity on complex projects, functioning either independently or as part of a team, and will supervise the workload of Analysts and potentially other Transaction Managers.
