Full Job Description
The Senior Trainer, Leader Training & Development is responsible for designing, facilitating, and evaluating advanced capability-building programs for MCBL Area Managers (Leaders) and Financial Sales Associates (FSAs) after BEST Onboarding. This role specifically addresses the critical capability gap for FSAs progressing to Levels 3 and 4, focusing on sales mastery, advisory readiness, and investment competence. The Senior Trainer is expected to lead and deliver Investments 101, 102, 103, and 104, and design structured capability pathways aligned with regulatory, product, and advisory standards. The role demands expert facilitation, advanced curriculum development, collaboration with senior stakeholders, and ownership of training strategy execution for post-onboarding field capability. **Position Responsibilities:** **1**. Lead Post-BEST Leadership & FSA Development Programs * Serve as primary trainer for post-BEST capability-building for: * Area Managers – coaching, leadership readiness, performance monitoring, and advisor development * FSAs (Level 3 & 4) – deepening product mastery, investment literacy, and advisory skills * Enhance and execute the Advanced FSA Training Roadmap, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business needs. * Deliver high-quality sessions using advanced facilitation techniques for adult learning. **2\. Investments Training Expertise (101–104)** * Act as subject matter expert and lead trainer for Investments 101 to 104, covering: * Fundamentals of investing * Risk profiling and suitability * Portfolio construction * Market movements and advisory conversations * Ensure training content meets compliance requirements and MCBL advisory frameworks. * Continuously update modules to reflect market updates, industry trends, and Manulife investment strategies. **3\. Curriculum Design, Enhancement & Innovation** * Develop and refine training modules, digital materials, assessments, and learning paths for Leaders and FSAs. * Identify performance gaps
