Must Have
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar, Professional Engineer (PE), Extensive traffic engineering experience with a proven ability to lead projects and consistently deliver high-quality results, interest in driving client engagement and pursuing new business opportunities, Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills, Valid Driver's License
Nice to Have
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), Prior project experience with MoDOT and/or KDOT, Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, Experience with urban, multimodal transportation planning and traffic calming, Experience leading teams in a project client environment, Experience with Synchro 12 and traffic signal operations/phasing, Experience with traffic simulation modeling software packages such as PTV’s VISSIM, Experience with innovative intersection and interchange configurations, Experience with the predictive methods of the Highway Safety Manual, Experience with traffic forecasting methods, Experience with travel demand modeling software packages such as Caliper’s TransCAD, Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, Experience with urban, multimodal transportation planning and traffic calming
