What You'll Do.
Examining public records
and instruments within the chain of title from patent or an appropriate starter date.
Verifying property and tax information for accuracy and completeness.
Ensuring all required maps
and search materials are included in customer packages.
Confirming appropriate starter base and verifying all subsequent information is included in the search package.
Preparing preliminary reports and coverage-specific guarantees in accordance with company policy
and title insurance best practices.
Identifying title defects
or encumbrances and recommending corrective actions when needed.
Providing supporting research
and additional materials to escrow teams and clients.
Maintaining accurate and organized documentation throughout the examination process.

EASTERN TITLE DIVISION _**Job Description:**_ ## Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Examiner III to join our growing title team. This role is ideal for an experienced title examiner who enjoys solving complex title issues, collaborating with internal teams, and mentoring others while continuing to grow professionally within the industry. The Examiner III is responsible for reviewing public records and legal documents to determine the legal condition of property titles, identify defects or encumbrances, and prepare accurate title products in accordance with company and industry standards. Our team is also open to considering candidates who may be a little earlier in their examination career but have a strong foundation in title examination and are eager to continue developing their skills.
