Must Have
3-year community college program in Biomedical Engineering Technology or Electronics Technology, 7 years of practical and related experience
Nice to Have
Significant experience supporting Medical Imaging equipment, Experience working in a hospital environment, Membership in OACETT or other equivalent provincial technology association, Certification as a Biomedical Engineering Technologist through ACI, Membership in a provincial or national clinical/biomedical engineering society, Reliable transportation for coming into the office
What You'll Do.
Repair imaging systems
Assure imaging system performance
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform incoming inspection
Provide technical support for imaging equipment
Provide proactive technical support to clinical users
Coordinate technical support activities
Schedule technical support activities
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance
Develop expertise in CT technical knowledge
Develop expertise in CT clinical knowledge
Lead on solving complex technical problems
Lead on solving escalated technical problems
Participate in equipment lifecycle
Develop Request for Proposal

Provide ongoing service support
