**_Job Description_** **WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?** Global IT Risk (GITR) enables the protection of RBC's brand, systems, and operations by equipping business and technology partners with meaningful insights, guidance, advice, and information on Technology & Cyber Risks. Our vision is to build and deliver the best IT and risk practices, capabilities and solutions to effectively meet the needs of RBC’s internal and external stakeholders. The Procedure Governance function within GITR offers a critical role in safeguarding the bank's technological infrastructure and data. We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer responsible for reviewing cyber & technology procedures from across the Enterprise and monitoring them for compliance, ensuring alignment with internal standards and policy, external regulations, and industry best practices. The role will work closely with other IT teams, and business units, to ensure a comprehensive approach to the development and renewal of cyber & technology procedure documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a robust governance framework, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive strategic outcomes within a dynamic and evolving environment. **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** * Working closely with business partners, and other stakeholders to lead the development of content across various employee engagement channels (e.g. web, email, etc.) * Researching and collecting resources required for content development. * Interprets writing requests and user feedback into concrete content to improve the user experience. * Outlines and writes user manuals, procedures, processes and other documents needed to understand the functionality of a product or service. * Reviews, proofreads, and edits documentation for clarity without changing key information. * Interviews professionals and subject matter experts to gain a deeper understanding of the topic being written about. * Publish approved content on internal website and application
