M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Huntsville, AL. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. Responsibilities Works independently to gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. Works with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revises and edits, and recommends the best solution for data compilation, as well as centralized storage. Researches, creates, and maintains information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy migration. Develops content in alternative media formats for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation. Ensures that published documents follow the style laid out in the organization’s style guide. Maintains the style guide and suggests revisions to the style guide. Required Skills and Qualifications TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proven experience gathering information from subject matter experts and translating complex material into clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation.
