What They're Looking For.

Must Have

7+ years of hands-on project management experience, meaningful portion in telecommunications, network engineering, or data center operations, Demonstrated ownership of technical projects from initiation through closure, including budget, schedule, scope, and risk, Working knowledge of voice services and IP networking, how voice (SIP / VoIP) networks operate end-to-end, data center infrastructure and cross-connects, private connectivity processes with carriers, general IP networking concepts, Prior experience with coordinating service orders, carrier escalations, multi-party cutovers, written and verbal communication skills, ability to run a meeting, drive decisions, follow up reliably, Proficiency with standard project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc), Excel for tracking and basic financial analysis

Nice to Have

Prior experience in a telecom vendor, operator, ISP, carrier, UCaaS, or wholesale voice environment, Experience supporting data center consolidation, migration, or exit projects, Exposure to platform rationalization or post-merger integration work, Good familiarity with SBCs, session management and relevant technologies at a conceptual level, PMP or equivalent certification
