Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another related technical discipline, Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting technical manufacturing projects from development through commercialization, analytical and troubleshooting abilities, Experience working within GMP-regulated manufacturing environments, Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines effectively, written and verbal communication skills, Technical documentation experience including reports, protocols, and process records, Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Operations, R&D, Engineering, and Quality

## Description Technical Project Manager – Process Engineering & Product Transfer Location: Henrico, VA Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Shift: 1st Shift Compensation: Starting at $90,000 annually (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in process engineering and product transfer within the pharmaceutical or personal care manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for leading and supporting the transfer of batch manufacturing and packaging processes from development through full-scale production. The position serves as a key technical liaison between internal cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, and Quality, ensuring seamless progression from pilot stages to validated commercial manufacturing under current GMP standards. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical documentation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. ## Core Responsibilities Coordinate activities related to process scale-up, manufacturing transfer, and commercial launch support Assist with bench-top formulation and laboratory batching activities Support pilot-scale GMP production runs, including process evaluation and optimization efforts Collaborate with internal departments to transfer products and processes into manufacturing Contribute to process validation activities, including protocol execution, documentation, and reporting Provide technical support to production and packaging teams during validation and routine manufacturing Investigate process deviations and assist with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment-related process issues Review production data and process trends to identify opportunities for operational improvement Recommend and implement solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and product consistency Perform technical assessments and cost-a
