Full Job Description
Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Leo is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) located in Redmond, WA to support the Aviation Design, Product Design (Mechanical), Electrical Design and Antenna Design for the Customer Terminal (CT) Aviation Projects. As a Senior TPM, you will lead the System development of the aviation customer terminal products, subsystem accessories, and accessories by working closely with cross functional teams including the Device TPM, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Antenna Engineering, Aviation partners and Airline customers to meet Key Performance Metrics for technical and schedule requirements. You will ensure the hardware design and deliverables align with system software deliverables for key builds. You will collaborate with the Device TPM, Product Integrity, Finance, Operations (including Quality, Operations Program Managers, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) to successfully mitigate challenges and maintain project milestone. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. The ideal person will treat the Senior TPM with a “Founder’s Mentality” and own all Day One deliverables like it is their own start up. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
