Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Key job responsibilities - Program Leadership: Lead large-scale, complex technical programs across multiple teams and disciplines, from inception to delivery - Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive program plans aligned with Kuiper's mission and business objectives - Cross-functional Coordination: Orchestrate efforts across engineering, operations, product, and business teams to ensure seamless program execution - Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact program success, developing contingency plans as needed - Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership, external partners, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and alignment - Technical Expertise: Leverage technical understanding to facilitate decision-making and problem-solving across teams - Process Improvement: Implement and optimize program management methodologies to increase efficiency and scalability - Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain program KPIs, providing regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes A day in the life As a Technical Program Manager on the Kuiper Devices & Systems Infrastructure team, you'll drive the development and operations programs for service environments and ServiceNow.
