Full Job Description
Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Key job responsibilities - Program Leadership: Lead large-scale, complex technical programs across multiple teams and disciplines, from inception to delivery - Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive program plans aligned with Kuiper's mission and business objectives - Cross-functional Coordination: Orchestrate efforts across engineering, operations, product, and business teams to ensure seamless program execution - Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact program success, developing contingency plans as needed - Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership, external partners, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and alignment - Technical Expertise: Leverage technical understanding to facilitate decision-making and problem-solving across teams - Process Improvement: Implement and optimize program management methodologies to increase efficiency and scalability - Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain program KPIs, providing regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes A day in the life As a Technical Program Manager on the Kuiper Devices & Systems Infrastructure team, you'll drive the development and operations programs for service environments and ServiceNow.
