Must Have
5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on mission, systems, or technical design, Experience shipping content involving mission or gameplay systems, proficiency with visual scripting tools and gameplay implementation workflows, Working knowledge of C++ and core programming concepts, Deep understanding of state machines, event systems, and gameplay logic debugging and problem-solving skills, Ability to ramp quickly and work effectively within an existing team and toolset
What You'll Do.
Design and implement mission gameplay that delivers pacing
and player engagement
Own mission development from concept through final implementation
including hands-on scripting and population work
Translate design direction into functional gameplay using scripting systems
and event-driven logic
and resolve gameplay and scripting issues
Iterate on mission content based on playtests
Contribute to maintaining design quality and consistency within established pipelines and standards
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with design, engineering, art, and animation to integrate missions into the broader game experience; Provide guidance and share best practices with other designers as needed; work effectively within an existing team and toolset
