Full Job Description
At AKQA (part of WPP), our Technology team design and deliver digital products and platforms that define how brands connect with customers. Increasingly, this includes AI-powered experiences that require new ways of thinking, building, and delivering. As a Senior Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in evolving how we work, helping teams adopt new tools, workflows, and AI-enabled delivery practices as part of a rapidly changing technology landscape. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital and AI-enabled products, working closely with engineers, architects, and designers to bring ambitious ideas to life. You will be responsible for ensuring solutions are technically sound, scalable, and delivered to a high standard, balancing delivery rigour with a strong focus on product quality and real-world impact. As part of AKQA, you’ll work in an innovative and inclusive culture, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields. You’ll collaborate within a creative and technically advanced team, helping shape modern delivery practices in an evolving technology landscape. Our hybrid in-studio/WFH model supports balance and flexibility. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical and AI-enabled products. Ensure solutions are well-architected, scalable, and built to a high standard. Work closely with development, architecture, and design teams to shape and deliver product outcomes. Translate product and technical requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans. Manage scope, timelines, and budgets while maintaining a strong focus on product quality. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across projects. Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Contribute to evolving delivery practices, including adoption of AI tools and new ways of working.
