Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar, At least 3 years experience in automotive Body Controls and software role, Working knowledge of vehicle communication network systems, Experience with body control systems, Experience mapping out architectures, Drafting requirements for complex vehicle systems, Rigorous mindset and attention to detail
Nice to Have
Deep experience with Body Control systems, Experience creating & negotiating requirements with automotive partners and OEMs, Create and execute effective test / design validation plans, Root-cause analysis mindset, Hands-on attitude to testing & verification
What You'll Do.
Define OEM Requirements & Architecture
Collaborate with internal product teams
Collaborate with external OEM partners
Author requirements for vehicle Body Control systems
Author requirements for network architectures
Author requirements for functional safety interfaces
Develop Embedded Software/Hardware Specifications
Write detailed requirements for internal embedded software
Write detailed requirements for hardware adjacencies
Implement Body Control functions
Lead Core Feature Development
Drive development of power mode management
Drive development of digital key architecture
Execute Verification & Validation (V&V)
Troubleshoot field/prototype defects
Bridge Engineering & Implementation
Work closely with embedded software teams
Author architecture design documents
Update architecture design documents
Manage Fleet Delivery & Integration
Track delivery timing of feature sets
Track delivery timing of software updates
Resolve troubleshooting issues
